We read the games you actually play and pick the perfect next one for you.
NextGame is a game recommendation engine: connect your PlayStation, Nintendo or Steam account and get your next game based on the genres you truly sink hours into — free, no sign-up, and nothing from your account is stored. Recommendations come from a catalog of over 20,000 games ranked by critic scores (Metacritic and IGDB) and player scores (Steam reviews).
Would you rather browse on your own? The game recommendations by style cover everything from souls-like to visual novels, and the platform lists round up the best PS5 games, the best Nintendo Switch games and the best PC games — plus the ranking of the best games of 2026. No idea where to start? See what game to play today.
NextGame needs your NPSSO token to read your game list. It is used for this request only — never stored, never logged.
Opens in a new tab: click “Sign In” and log in. NextGame never sees your password.
Already signed in to PlayStation? Skip straight to step 2.
It shows something like {"npsso":"<token>"}. Select it all and copy — the whole JSON is fine, the app extracts the value.
Got a login screen instead of the token? Then you are not signed in yet: go back to step 1, log in and open this link again.
The analysis starts as soon as you paste — no button to click.
The token lives in a browser cookie on Sony’s domain. For NextGame to read it on its own, your browser would have to hand that cookie to another site — and if it did, every page you visited could steal your PlayStation session. The browser blocking that is the protection working; pasting is the price of the token never leaving your control.
Nintendo has no token you can copy directly, so the login happens on their official site and you bring back the return URL. NextGame never sees your password.
After signing in, the page shows your account with a “Select this account” button. Do not click it. Right-click it and choose “Copy link address”.
After signing in, the page shows your account with a “Select this account” button. Do not tap it. Tap and hold for a second and choose “Copy link”.
⚠️ This may not work on iPhone. Safari offers no “copy” for this kind of link, and tapping it just says “the address is invalid”. If that happens, do this step on a computer — or try Chrome/Firefox, which have their own menu. The field below also accepts the bare code, if you can extract it some other way.
The copied link starts with npf5c38e31cd085304b://auth#… and opens nowhere — that is normal, it only carries the return code.
If you already copied the link, just click above — the app reads your clipboard. Nothing is sent unless it contains Nintendo’s return code.
or paste it manually:
The pasted URL carries a single-use code, which the server exchanges with Nintendo for a temporary token that only reads your play history. Nothing is stored: not the code, not the token, not your account. The token lasts 15 minutes and is discarded as soon as the analysis finishes.
The scopes requested are the same as the official app’s, and none of them allows writing — NextGame cannot buy, change or delete anything.
The fastest way: sign in with your account and Steam identifies your profile by itself. All it takes is a public profile.
You log in on Steam’s site (we never see your password) and come back here with the analysis already running. Rather not sign in? Follow the steps below with your profile link.
On Steam: Profile → Edit profile → Privacy Settings, then set “Game details” to Public. Without it your game list stays hidden and there is nothing to analyze.
Opens in a new tab right on your profile (if you are signed in to Steam in this browser — otherwise it asks for the login first and then lands on the profile). Copy the address bar, something like steamcommunity.com/id/yourname, and come back to paste it. A 17-digit SteamID works too.
If you already copied your profile link, just click above — the app reads your clipboard. Nothing is sent unless it is a Steam profile.
or paste it manually:
